Very sorry I'm so late with my layout for may, but hey! just maybe you might be inspired to have a last minute go at our challenge???
So this month it is misheard lyric's, now for the life of me I just couldn't think of a song, but I know that my littest man, Hugo always sings a parody of
Katy Perry's " I Kissed a Girl"
He sings........ I kissed a squirrel and i liked it.....makes me laugh everytime and I'm sure he wouldn't have a clue about the real lyrics
Here is my layout
So hope you have a little spare scrappy time to have a go!!!!
Cheers Kim xxx
I think all of us at some stage have sung along to a song for years not realising that the words we are singing arent really the words. The song I have choosen this month is SINGLE LADIES (PUT A RING ON IT) by Beyonce The song was released back in 2008 when my little Holly bear was 5 years old - and what kid didnt shake their bootie to this song (or even adults for that matter - he he). Well anyway to cut a long story short instead of singing "All the Single Ladies" she would sing "All the Singlets" Classic..................
It's even got a little spinner that really spins - how cool
My Journalling....
I know that I have never sung the song the same way since and i'm pretty sure my family and friends all have to take a step back before singing the song now as well. Give the challenge a go - I need a good laugh :) Happy Saturday BBxx
Yes you heard right hehehe, this months Challenge is to scrap about a song that you thought you were singing the right words to, only to find out you were way off the mark :) Gosh haven't we all done that, I know I sure have , more than once! I chose to do a layout on a misheard song that my Grandson Sang. Instead of singing "Six White Boomers, Snow white Boomers" , he sang" Six White Poomers, Smell Like Poomers" lol. Bless his little soul Sorry we are late with the challenge this month, I look forward to seeing your layouts with your Misheard Lyrics
Hello readers, Julene here. Misheard lyrics or mondegreens often provide much laughter.'
My choice for this one is Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Bad Moon rising."
There is a line in it which goes "there's a bad moon on the rise." I always thought it was "There's a bathroom on the right" as I was a kid when this song was around.
Here's my layout
Suzi Quatro has been a long time favourite and unusually it is her ballads I like best. There is one called "Cat size" which reminds me of a past love.
I also like "Devilgate Drive","Can the can", and her other rocking hits.Suzi was the first female bass guitarist to become a rock legend....a pioneer for others to follow.
Pour yourself a glass of wine and chill out while you listen to "Cat size".
Here's my layout featuring my friend's cat,Constance.
Her eyes are adorable and mesmerising.
.
I've used Doileys and mushroom and round clay thingy from the Chip chop shop.

Whos your favourite and why ??? what memories do they bring back for you???
Hi Mary here,
This months challenge is to scrap a driving song. Well I was a little stumped, as I sing along to lots and lots of songs (very badly) . I asked my Hubby and Daughter " What song should I do for a driving song" My daughter said that all she knew was that every time she got in our old car the U2 tape was going around and around. Then I was talking to BB on Facebook and she said "You have been to a U2 Concert , why don't you scrap something to do with that " So....... thought I would scrap "Stuck in a Moment" seeing Chels reckons we were stuck on the U2 Tape in the car .
Before we went to the concert at ANZ Stadium the pub across from the stadium had a band impersonating U2, they weren't to bad actually and the singer looked slightly like Bono and had some of his mannerisms down pat. Then it was time for the U2 Concert and the real deal. I love Bono and I think he has a charisma around him.
So my layout "Stuck in a Moment"
Can't wait to see all your takes on a favourite Driving Song
Hi all!
Kim here :O)
So my driving song...hmmm?
I'm going with .......
'Tis a feel good one, hey!
.......and my layout
Suited my pic so well....journaling card reads....On 25th Sept, 2011 the 3 of you set out on a great adventure only for it to be cut short a week later (650 km), due to an injury to Alex and the breakdown of one of your trailers...you decided to call it quits for the time being. Along the way you had a lot of fun, blisters and spent some special time together.
can't wait to see what the rest of the CT has on offer???
Hey Peeps,
BB here........
There are so many fantastic songs that make us TURN IT UP as such.
I decided to go with a song that suited a big change I had in my life, it's all about the choices we make that get us to where we are today.
The song I have chosen is IT'S MY LIFE by No Doubt
It's an awesomely catching song that deserves to be turned up.
Here is my layout -
It's a great theme this month with so many choices - good luck picking - I know the CT kept changing their minds a few times before decisions were made
And on a last hoorah
I hope the easter bunny finds you all safely
Sunshine and Happiness

BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY BY "QUEEN" by Julene
Anyone who has heard this song a few times knows it is catchy and by its very nature you want to sing along to it.
The crescendo comes at the part which goes "Galileo,Galileo,Galileo ,Figaro" which Freddy Mercury sang falsetto.I often put my Queen CD in the car CD player when I'm on a long trip and sing along to it.
For the layout the words took me to the Leaning tower of Pisa in Italy where Galileo lived and tested out his theories of gravity as well as studying the planets through his telescope.I've used one and a half doileys from "THE CHIP CHOP SHOP"
