Another Entry for August and Upcoming Sept Challenge..

Hi Everyone

I am preparing for next months challenge. Its going to be awesome.
The girls have rocked this one out of the water.. i cant wait for you to see them all.
We have some exciting and different songs on the playlist next month - i love how all of us choose such different songs. We are such an ecletic bunch.

In the meantime you still have a few days to get your entries in for our August Challenge, so make sure you do we would love to see a few more entries.

And talking about August here is Kerris take on our song challenge.

Rebekkah Lynch

Hi ! My name is Rebekkah Lynch, but you can call me Bek. I am the founder of STS..
I live on the gorgeous Mornington Peninsula.. beside the bay.. love it.
I have a wonderful partner who puts up with all my weird and wacky ways and who has been very patient when i  have brought home yet another bag of scrappy supplies to add to the stash thats already there..lol
Together we have 2 gorgeous kids and 2 cute kittys.. life is hectic, but we are very fortuate to have two healthy and happy kids..
I started scrapping 6 years ago. I loved it from the minute i started cutting and pasting. Like most people i started with a Cm party and the girl asked me on the spot to join.. i didnt but went to workshops.. I then found a lss nearby, learned how to scrapbook properly and then found another lss and got a job teaching, and designing for them, while also helping to run their crops.. I loved it - felt lke a kid in a candy store.. lol. After the lss closed, i continued to design and got into sketches. I started a blog that was called scrapability sketches in which i designed the sketches on the blog.. i had alot of fun with this site. I fell pregnant and had my first baby and took a break for a while and then came back with scrapcalls an advertising site for calls and challenges.. which i still run, along with Scrap that Song and i design for ScrapwithV and scrapbookkits..
I am totally addicted to this craft and my style is influenced by papers and photos but i would call myself an all rounder as i dont have a style as such really... but i have favoured paints alot lately.. and 5x7 photos which i am really enjoying doing..
I hope i can inspire you to look at a song and its lyrics and meaning and maybe make you think outside the box when interpreting the challenge..

A song can lift you up - make you cry and make you dance.. and sing out loud..

Meet BB and some more inspiration from the girls !

Hi Everyone

Today i have another team member for you to meet and some more inspiration !

Meet Belinda :

Hi Peeps........I hope you are all as excited as I am....

My name is Belinda Lowe ( affectionetly known as BB )and I live in Hodgson Vale QLD. 

I am a lady of many talents - I have been hairdressing for 17 years and I also work casually at Target and  I am studying for my Bachelor of Nursing at university.

I have been scrapping for about 5 years now; it all started when my mum showed an interest and she asked me to help her....yeah right, all I did was take over so I figured I may as well just do it myself.

I have been married to my husband Adam for 11 years now and we have 4 children; Lachlan 12, Holly 8, Jett 5 and Alecia 2, we also have 2 dogs Trevor and Charlie, a budgie called Master Chief (who is secretly a girl but we don't tell the kids that) and quite a few fish.

I have not really got a scrapping style - I believe in ' You just make the most of what you have' - everyone is on a different scrap budget. We have a small local group of friends that get together once a month and its really nice to have friends with a common interest.

I have a blog that I probably should pay more attention to, its called 'Sunshine and Happiness Always' and you can find it at http://bblowe.blogspot.com ( PS - I like followers - hint hint nudge nudge).

I love soccer and am still playing even though I am starting to feel the pain after a match - I probably should quit but i just cant - and my second biggest love is MUSIC - sing, dance, scream......shuffle!!!!!

This is my first design team so I hope that I can inspire you to help build the memories for your family in the future. A picture is a picture but a picture with a story is a priceless memory that would otherwise be forgotten.

I hope you all enjoy visiting us and I will look forward to seeing all your layouts ( I may even stalk you if you are lucky - he he)

Meet the Ct part 2 and AUGUST Challenge.

Hi and Welcome to August !

We have now fnalised our team so thanks to everyone who applied and if you didnt get through, we appreciate you trying again in another 6 mths.

First off, let me introduce one other team member to you..


Annette Edmonds..

I live in Orange NSW, work for Bunnings and have been scrapping for about 5 years.I have a 21 year old son, two dogs and cats plus a ferret (who is just adorable).I have been with my partner for 7 years but we don't live together which means I can spend as much as I want on myscrapping and not feel guilty, gotta love that.
I don't know how to  describe my style, if anything I would say that I am a neat scrapper, have trouble doing messy.I love using glimmer mist, ribbons, flowers and chippies and really enjoy using sketches, helps to bring it all together for me.No particular brand is my fav but atm I am loving Bo Bunny Butterfly Garden, Kaiser Lullaby Range and Echo Park Summer Days. 
I have met so many amazing woman through scrapping and had the opportunity to go to the Brisbane Scrapbooking and Papercraft Expo with two of them, Mary and Kim (poor Bec didn't know that we all knew each other when we applied), together we are a abit of a handful. We scrap together every second Saturday and have so much fun.

I love music, and singing out loud (been known to scare the neighbours lol), music is amazing it can lift you up, calm you down or make you cry, remind you of good times or bad. I love to have music playing while I scrap. Photography is something that I adore, always have my camera with me, so being able to scrap the pics I take is fantastic, a visual diary of my life for generations to come to revisit makes me know that in some way my life will go on forever.
Anyway that is enough rambling from me, enjoy this awesome blog and have fun.
